Short version: the only thing this website collects is what you type into the callback form, and we use it to call you back. Your phone number is never sold or shared with anyone. There’s no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie on this site. The long version is below.
This site is run by Garage Door Family LLC, a garage door repair and installation company working out of Katy, Texas.
If you want anything on this page explained, or you want your details removed, email that address or call. A person reads it.
There’s one form on this website. It asks for:
That’s the entire list. We don’t ask for an address on the form, and we don’t ask for payment details anywhere on this website.
If you call us instead, we’ll have your phone number, and we’ll write down what you tell us about the job — usually the address, the problem, and what we did about it. That is a work record, and we keep it the way any contractor keeps job records.
We call or email you back about your garage door. That’s the whole purpose.
We don’t send marketing emails, we don’t run a newsletter, and we don’t add you to a list. We have never sold or rented customer details to anyone, and we’re not going to start.
We never sell, rent or share your phone number with anybody. Not with data brokers, not with lead sellers, not with other contractors, not with advertisers. The only reason we have your number is so we can reach you about your own garage door. Nobody buys it from us, because it is not for sale.
The same goes for your consent to be texted. If you tick the SMS box on our form, that consent is for Garage Door Family LLC only. It is never sold, shared, or passed to a third party, and it is not shared with anyone else for their own marketing.
Texting is optional and you have to ask for it. The checkbox on our form starts unticked. Leave it alone and we simply won’t text you — you’ll still get your callback, and it makes no difference to the price or to how fast we come out. Tick it and you’re telling us it’s fine to text the number you gave us.
If you do tick it, here’s exactly what that means:
The only companies that touch a text message are the phone carriers that have to carry it, and the messaging service that sends it on our behalf. They handle it to deliver it — they are not given your number for their own use, and they don’t get to market to you.
This is worth spelling out, because most sites can’t say it. As of the date at the bottom of this page, this website carries:
If we ever add analytics or an advertising tag — and we might, because we need to know which adverts are worth paying for — this page gets updated at the same time. The date at the bottom tells you when it was last true.
This site used to load its typefaces from Google Fonts, which meant your browser had to ask Google for them, and that request carried your IP address and browser type. That is no longer true. As of 14 September 2026 the fonts are stored on our own server and served from garagedoorfamily.com, so loading a page here does not make your browser contact Google at all.
Both of those companies can technically access what’s on their systems, in the way any host or email provider can. Neither is given your details for their own use.
Honestly: form submissions stay in the site database and in our email until someone clears them out, and we don’t run an automatic deletion schedule. Job records we keep, because a warranty claim two years from now needs the record of what we fitted.
If you’d rather we didn’t hold yours, email info@garagedoorfamily.com and say so. We’ll delete what we can and tell you what we’ve kept and why — a warranty record for work we did is the usual exception.
You don’t need a legal reason and you don’t need to fill in a form. An email is enough.
This is a garage door repair site. It isn’t aimed at children and we don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
If this changes, we change this page and update the date below. We won’t quietly start collecting more and leave this page saying otherwise.
Last updated 14 September 2026. This is the first published version of this page.
Cross-streets or a zip is enough. Free estimate, no service-call charge, and a straight answer on how soon we can be there.
